Well now this is no longer a concern. Google has implemented Dashboard Sharing.
There is one feature I have been wanting for a long time, Dashboard Sharing. I manage quite a few websites and really disliked the idea of having to create the same 4 dashboards for 30 different sites.

How to Share a Dashboard
Go to one of your Google Analytic Accounts
- Click home button (next to standard reporting)
- Click "Share Dashboard"
Copy the URL to Share
You will see a dialog box where you can copy the Dashboard Configureation URL.
Just past this into a browser and you will be prompted to add the dashboard to a new website account or profile.
You now have all of you custom dashboard settings copied over to the new Analytics Account.
How to Add a Shared Dashbord
Either click on the Shared Dashboard Link or paste it into your browser. You will see the above Dialog box.
- Select the Profile you want to add it to
- Adjust the name of the dashboard if you want to. (Optional)
- Click the Create Button
You will now see your new dashboard complete with all the widgets.
