The city of Cummings 'Utility Department' approached Intown Web Design for a full logo and Web Site overhaul. The original site dated back to (date here), and therefore was not only lacking in a clean, modern design, but the site was hard to navigate, was not Web standard compliant and didn't work on mobile/tablet devices. We have been creating a site that sells regular products as well as subscription products with recurring payments.

Every now and then you find some fantastic CSS tutorial that show you wonderful tricks. The worst is when you can not find them again. I started this post as a place to keep my favorite tutorials.

There is not a lot of detailed and helpful information availble about rich snippets and their best practices, at least not that I could find.

There are many template clubs availble for joomla and other popular CMS.  So the big question is:  How do you select the best template for your site?  There are many excellent templates available and you will need to have a system that eliminates inappropriate templates.

While building the Intown Web Design site I had the need to fade out images.  So I learned about and used a cool tool in Fireworks.  It is the Fade Image command.  This tool created  the image fade for the lower half of all header images.
